Ikarův Pád (DVD)

George Hubač game, winning the ITF Golden Prague 1977 and the MTF Monte Carlo in 1978, is one of the most significant works of Czech original television production. The dramatic story of a father, son and the whole family addresses a serious social problem, which brings with it the danger of alcoholism. Kara's father, a musician in the bar begins to drink so much that it threatens family life. A mother who sees how the other is changing, no longer has the strength to believe his promises again and looking for a way in a new relationship. The only one who believes his father is the son of Andrew. Father convinces him to go voluntarily to heal.

The advantage Hubačová dramatic talent is a deep look at the fate of the characters and their surroundings, the ability to create vivid and true characters. In the role of Kara in the staging of Philip Francis of 1977 created Vladimir Menšík one of his memorable characters.
