Sicario wurde digital mit diversen Arri Alexa XT Kameras in einer Auflösung von 3,4K gedreht, wobei das Digital Intermediate erfreulicherweise in 4K erstellt wurde. Das ist ja schon mal eine sehr gute Grundvoraussetzung für eine tolle Blu-ray Umsetzung. Tatsächlich gehört dieser Titel zu den besseren Veröffentlichungen, auch in 4K UHD.

An outstanding blend at the reference level. I am simply thrilled. A space that is second to none. It is also nice that the Direktioanlität is very well resolved and thus the surround effects are always clearly located.

Bonuses  
The regular Full HD Blu-ray itself includes the already familiar 5 featurettes, which provide additional information about the film's respective production areas. These contributions are completely in HD and German subtitled before.

Verdict
Anyone who knows the filography of director Dennis Villeneuve knows that this filmmaker can always count on good, but independent entertainment. His works are definitely not mass-compatible, but whoever likes to watch films with a level of sophistication that does not blow a car up in the air when shooting with the slingshot is definitely very well advised with Sicario.

Revving motors, breaking glass, the explosion of gunfire are all done with clarity. You really feel you are actually there.

The steelbook I purchased came with some nice cards & the slipcover is very arty. I think it is excellent. I can't comment on any bonus material on the disc as I haven't watched any of that yet.

Verdict
Very well packed item. The film itself is an intense hard edged thriller that is one of the best films of 2015. The cast give terrific performances & the action is almost non stop. However, it is also a film thats makes you think about the consequences of your actions.
Definitely a top class film.

This is a very cool edition, with an amazing fullslip lookout. The black embossed design from the steelbook is very-very nice. The bonus post cards, the collectors card an the sticker are all perfect. Sorry about it, that its not a numbered edition.

I am satisfied about the high definition video on this edition, on a bigger television looks the picture good.

Sorry about it, that the disc doesn't contains a hungarian audio track, or a subtitle. The original engish track sunds great.

It is okay, what the disc includes on bonuses, not all the films can have many hours on them, I think it is all right so.

I can recommend the edition, this is a very-very good price for them. It is not just for collectors, a simple blu-ray lover can buy it too.

Nečíslovaná FAC filmu Sicario v poněkud netradičním, ale kvalitním šubru. Je dobře, že jsou voleny různé motivy. Steelbook vypadá moc dobře.

Obrazová stránka je na velmi kvalitní úrovni, řekl bych, že jeden z těch lepších co jsem viděl. Obraz krásně čistý, ostrý.

Zde platí to samé jako u obrazu. I stránka zvuková je velmi povedená a kvalitní. Dabing nevím, nepouštím si ho.

Bonusových materiálů je zde necelá hodina (víc by potěšilo), vše je opatřeno českými titulky, takže spokojenost.

Pěkná edice s netradičním šubrem, povedeným steelbookem, velmi dobrou technickou stránkou, celkem dostatečné bonusy, spokojenost.

Velice povedený snímek, který se dočkal i nečíslované edice a užijí si ho v bonusovém balení i Ti, kteří nevlastní sběratelské číslo. Není co vytknout.

Jelikož čekám na hardbox tak jsem si to čekání zpříjemnil i touto edicí, a udělal jsem moc dobře. Moc pěkná edice která krásně zapadlá k ostatním FAC edicim. Veliké díky.

This Edition 4 package of Sicario is excellent as usual , the attention to detail on these WEA slip covers is second to none From the Full GLOSS embossed titles and Film company Logos to the almost velvet like touch to the slipcase art itself . Atruly worthwhile addition to any collection.

I viewed this release on a Panasonic 42" Plasma Full HD TV and Panasonic BD-500 Blu-Ray player and the video reproduction was absolutely stunning reproduction of the desert scenery and outdoor shots are very true to life. In the opening first few minutes the dust particles in the air highlighted by the sunlight is very noticable.

Audio  
The Dolby Atmos Audio on this release is simply superb .The audio placement really adds more tension to this movie than just the normal audio track its far more detailed and directional.

Bonuses  
The bonus items received with this edition are 8 postcards with scenes from the movie and are very high quality prints on good quality card stock inside a fold out envelope,as well as smaller credit card sized prints of various cover shot artwork, in all a nice addition to this package

Verdict
My overall verdict for this release is a 10/10 a worthy addition to any film collection FA seem to do what nobody else does and that is to give you a little bit more than a steelbook in a box they give you a proper collectable item thats different to the rest. Keep them coming I say.

Obraz je skvělý, ostrý!!! Skvělé jsou scény v závěru filmu, kdy je pro lepší požitek obraz jak přes zařízení nočního vidění.

Originální zvuková stopa nemá chybu. Výtečný mix! Českou mutaci jsem ani nezkoušel a asi ani zkoušet nebudu.

Na bonusy není v létě čas, tak vůbec nevím, co tam je, nebo není.
