Perfektní fullslip, kde si parciální lak v obrysu postavy Jacka na přední straně v množství zdůrazněných detailů opravdu vyhrál. Sběratelské karty i booklet stylově zachycují zásadní okamžiky z filmu, Steelbook je rozhodně koncepčně zajímavý, s minimalistickými artworky, ale s lesklým provedením s drobnými nápisy ve stylu bludiště velmi efektní. Celkově se jedná o skvělé sběratelské balení kultovního hororového snímku!

4K UHD film nabízí velmi povedený přepis čtyřicet let starého snímku, díky němuž film vypadá opravdu parádně. Krásně ostrý obraz díky HDR notně ožívá, což je jasně patrné např. při sledování scén, odehrávajících se v interiéru hotelu, kde převládají odstíny rudé barvy. Za mě oba palce nahoru! Klasické blu-ray dosud neviděno.

Audio  
Na 4k disku je přítomna originální anglická stopa v pětikanálovém DTS-HD Masteru, který je vzhledem ke stáří filmu dostatečně kvalitní a v němž vynikne i znepokojivý soundtrack k hororové atmosféře filmu. Dabing disk neobsahuje, pro milovníky originálu to ale není na překážku.

Oba disky mají ve své výbavě totožné bonusy, kterými jsou dokumenty z natáčení včetně vize samotného režiséra, audiokomentáře a další. U takto starých kultovních snímků potěší dvojnásobně.
