Příběh muže mezi dvěma ženami, příběh o vášni, touze, podvodu a lži a věčném odpouštění vznikl podle knihy populární spisovatelky Barbary Nesvadbové.

Má podobu takřka detektivního příběhu. Kapitán Rott pátrá po totožnosti těla nalezeného v řece.

Díky tomu se dostává doprostřed příběhu muže, který si prostřednictvím lži budoval vlastní svět a díky tomu dokázal žít dva odlišné životy.
